Brocklands Woodland Burial

At Brocklands Woodland Burial, which is located near Settle, North Yorkshire, we offer completely natural burials. This means that, as far as possible, nothing artificial is put into or onto the ground, thus preserving and enhancing the ecology of the area.
A tree is planted on each grave and the site will eventually grow into mature woodland, embracing the theme of ‘life from death’, and serving as a living memory to those buried there.
The manner of the burial is the choice of the individual and the family involved, as long as the ecological principles of the site are adhered to.
